About Carpool
Carpool is the logistics infrastructure powering the modern car economy. We combine a proprietary technology platform with a vetted carrier network of 13,000+ transporters to move 200,000+ vehicles annually for dealerships, auctions, OEMs, and fleets nationwide. The Role
Carpool is hiring a Director of Enterprise Sales to expand our business across OEMs, fleets, and franchise dealer groups. You will own the enterprise sales pipeline, build relationships with automotive executives, and develop solutions that support their vehicle logistics and supply chain needs. Working closely with Carpool’s founders and cross-functional leaders, you will help shape our enterprise sales strategy and convert complex opportunities into profitable, long-term partnerships.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute an enterprise sales strategy for OEMs, fleets, and franchise dealer groups.
- Build and manage a pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities, from initial outreach through contract execution.
- Establish relationships with executives and decision-makers across the automotive industry.
- Lead consultative sales conversations to understand each prospect’s supply chain, transportation needs, and operational challenges.
- Develop proposals and solutions in partnership with leadership, operations, product, and marketing.
- Own enterprise revenue targets, pipeline reporting, forecasts, and sales KPIs.
- Monitor automotive and vehicle logistics trends to identify new opportunities and strengthen Carpool’s position as an industry resource.
- Represent Carpool at customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- At least seven years of automotive industry experience, with logistics or transportation experience preferred.
- A record of selling complex services or solutions to enterprise automotive accounts.
- Established experience working with OEMs, fleets, franchise dealer groups, or similar automotive organizations.
- Strong executive communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- The ability to develop sales strategy while personally managing opportunities through the full sales cycle.
- Sound commercial judgment, including an understanding of revenue growth, pricing, and account profitability.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events.
Compensation
Carpool offers a competitive compensation package: base salary, performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits. We’re a venture-backed company headquartered in Buckhead at Atlanta Tech Village (ATV), a startup community with mentors and advisors built in. Why Carpool
This is an opportunity to build Carpool’s enterprise business alongside its founders and senior leadership. You will have direct access to major automotive accounts, meaningful influence over our enterprise sales strategy, and support from the operations and product teams responsible for delivering the work you sell. Carpool already moves more than 200,000 vehicles annually, providing a strong foundation for expanding relationships with the country’s largest automotive organizations.
