Carrier Sales Executive

What will you do? As a Carrier Sales Executive, you have an opportunity to work with our auto hauler partners and help build our carriers side of the marketplace. You will be responsible for managing carrier relationships within the automotive industry. This is a competitive role and will require relationship building skills, growth mindset, and an entrepreneurial spirit. You will need to understand the challenges that automotive businesses face within their supply chains and provide solutions by partnering with carriers that support our customers’ initiatives. You will use CARPOOL’s technology solutions to drive automation, improve efficiencies, and add value to the carriers’ business.

As in every startup you will be wearing multiple hats beyond the core responsibilities. You will participate in carrier sales and account management by working with customers in our client portfolio. This is a great opportunity to get very broad exposure to building and running a business.


  • Develop and cultivate carrier relationships for regular transport lanes.
  • Maintain constant contact with carriers to secure truck capacity and manage existing business agreements.
  • Proactively search for new carriers to assign shipments.
  • Coordinate timely transportation appointment scheduling.
  • Identify transportation delays or issues and implement the best solution.
  • Leverage data analytics to negotiate rates with the carriers.
  • Leverage technology to drive automation and improve efficiency.


  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 0-3 years of logistics, transportation or automotive experience.
  • Passion for building relationships.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to thrive under deadlines, multi-task, and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Can persuade, influence and negotiate with others.
  • Creative problem-solving, detail oriented and strong organization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
